Scacciadiavoli winery, outside of Montefalco, was built originally in the 1850s by an Italian Prince named Ugo Boncompagni (see his initials?) We spent a wonderful hour and half touring the winery with Paolo, who showed us the grounds, buildings, and methods of production with great pride.
